The temperatures dipped again today.
All the white was glossed with slip.
But I am agile and
quick with wit.
And I can stick
a take off and a landing.
And when you take
the bone I’ve spent
tens of minutes digging from the ice,
I will find the appropriate comeback.
And it will be swift.
