I always liked the bright orange hydrants in and around Hampden, Baltimore, where we lived for an entire six months about six (long) years ago. This one was actually in Keswick, not Hampden, so if you’re a Baltimore resident, don’t kill me: I only called it a “Hampden Hydrant” for the alliteration.
Also, I like how everything in Hampden has a way of evoking Halloween.
In other news, Baltimore was having a much more impressive fall than Jersey this weekend.
I blame the cicadas.
