the white that fell today was wet, and
heavy, and it bent
down the branches on the pines
and obscured
the green, so the tips
touched down and blended, innit.
the bald man said he was feeling a
“massive kiss-tick” which must be an awful thing.
it made him use the yellow “shove
all” instead of the loud machine
to heft and throw and
move the white. and
he became wet and heavy, too.
the burned breath, and
each humid curse at the snow plow
that moved the white back onto the
driveway
after him.
