Scots are good at coming up with creative names for things. Like there was probably a lot of fog that could be seen from the top of the castle. So somebody thought: Foogs Gate. Also, there is a big canon that is fired at 1 o’clock every afternoon. It is called “The One O’Clock Gun.” I appreciate that sort of simplicity.
