We’ve been doing the securing of things.
Closing all the open hasps. Painting the
white. Sealing the cracks. Prepping
the warm, dry things for another
cold, wet season. There will surely be
something undone. A critter
uncaught. A hasp
unstapled.
We will stop thinking of it. We will
forget to remember.
It will be sidelined (finally) and it will be
fine. And then it will be found again:
Something to do for next time.
