Pear Blossoms Above

We’ve been keeping a daily

log. To keep track of the daily

things. To overcome the daily

distraction. And there isn’t much more than that, innit.

There isn’t much more than doing

the daily things in spite of the daily diversion and

preoccupation. The bewilderment and

abstraction. Looking for new ways

to look. Finding the beautiful new in the same and the

same. Getting low enough to play and to roll on the cold, green

ground. Getting high enough to look down at the color and the

pretty. Which is there always, but is never easy

to see.
