When you burst out the door yipping like a
banshee, this helps drop the surprise onto
yon critters, if yon they be. Stun them, innit.
You might feel silly doing this and finding
no critter, yon. But better to anticipate a
critter situation, then get caught with your
ears down, your forward
momentum lacking. Therefore,
do this for each and
every door opening
in spring.
